  3. Contact Information: Provide your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Statement of Good Faith Belief: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement of Accuracy: Include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Physical or Electronic Signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature.
  7. Submission: Send the complete notice to our designated agent via our contact page. Please clearly indicate that it is a "DMCA Takedown Notice" in your message.

DMCA Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that your content was removed or access was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notification. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA Takedown Notice. The original claimant then has 10 business days to file a lawsuit seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity. If no lawsuit is filed within this period, we may restore the removed material or re-enable access to it.

Your counter-notification must contain substantially the following information:

  • Identification of the material: Identify the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL(s)) at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Contact Information: Provide your name, address, and telephone number.
  • Jurisdiction Consent: Include a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which "How To Start Seeds Indoors" may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA Takedown Notice or an agent of such person.
  • Statement of Good Faith Belief: Include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Physical or Electronic Signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature.
  • Submission: Send the complete counter-notification to our designated agent via our contact page. Please clearly indicate that it is a "DMCA Counter-Notification" in your message.
